Established by a group of Cary Quad residents in 1952, Cary Club Radio (WCCR) was the first totally student-run radio station at Purdue,
as well as one of the original student radio stations in the Big Ten. For years, WCCR was
broadcast from the top of Cary Quad's Tower. While we were set-up in the Cary Quad Tower, for several years we
broadcast over the airwaves at 90.1 CaFM. However, we discovered a better method of reaching our listeners with
a quality signal. This is when we switched to broadcast over the internet. Now we are able to reach anyone across
the globe with an internet connection. This allows our djs to let their friends at other college to listen, and
even their parents!
With recent renovations to Cary Quad, we now have a new home in the basement of Cary Quad Northwest.
WCCR also offers a highly experienced mobile DJ service. Our crew is ready and waiting to DJ your
next event! To make sure we keep our customers happy, we only use quality, top-of-the-line, extremely
reliable equipment. Your party guests will love us and so will you! More details...
